On the 14th June, we had an English Immersion Day at school. 1st ESO C and D bilingual participated in 3 workshops through the day. The workshops were held by our English language assistants, Eliza Bradley, Samuel Martínez and Rebecca Ratero.
The workshops were:
The Drama Workshop led by Eliza B.: the workshop consisted of a variety of theatre games. The participants enjoyed them and there were plenty of laughs shared throughout the game play. They learned some drama techniques (tongue twisters...) and played different roles as truly great actors.
The Sports Workshop led by Samuel M.: Our students, divided into groups, had to design their own logo and team chant. The competitons were held in the school patio: team relay, futbol bowling, slalom hockey, badminton challenge, Frisbee basket, free throw challenge, medicinal ball toss, obstacle game...They enjoyed a lot!!
The Games Workshop was led by Rebecca R.: the children learned to play a variety of games like Banana slap, Jeopardy, A Mighty Wind Blows, riddles... They had a lot of fun!
